In 1980 is born the private company named “Tomaificio Pastro Daniela” with headquarters at via sibillina 7 in Casella D’Asolo (TV), sole proprietor for the production of uppers’s ski boots and inner shoes for ski boots for some local companies in Asolo.
The most important move was to invest in the first sewing machines “thread trimmer”, advanced machinery and efficient, while machinery used in the territory were exclusively “normal.” With this technology, the company has achieved in a short time a remarkable achievement both productive and economical.
In 1984 the steady growth over the years leads to the need to build the first piece of the shed with the inclusion of the first rope tow and the addition as a collaborator Bassotto Dino.
By continuing to invest in machinery and personnel, in 1988 doubles the production unit and the number of employees and works exclusively with companies in the area.
In 1992 the private company (Tomaificio Pastro Daniela) turns into Calzaturificio Darlim di Bassotto Dino & C. . In this period one perceives the need to move from the production of uppers in large quantities at a very high quality niche product, created with particular materials, especially leather, and with specific technique, which allowed us over the years to become producers leader in the industry for our area.

In the year 2016, the business passed to Bassotto Dino’s son, Omar, who founded the company Calzaturificio Darlim Ltd continuing the tradition of producing and developing the Made in Italy , being himself grew up and trained within the company over the years by acquiring skills and experience in the production of sports uppers.
